Data Privacy

The liable authority for collecting and evaluating data is at Ferrari electronic AG in Teltow (near Berlin). Ferrari electronic (hereinafter referred to as “We”) solely save your user data for the purpose of contract processing, order processing (e.g. requesting test licenses, newsletter, product information or support) as well as product registration.

We have implemented technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from loss, destruction, manipulation or unauthorized access. Our employees as well as any person concerned with data processing are required to adhere to the German federal data security law as well as to any other data security laws of relevance, to ensure confidential handling of user specific data.

We save and process all user data according to the applicable regulations, such as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the federal data protection act in its latest revision (BDSG n.F.- Bundesdatenschutzgesetz), the tele media regulation (TMG- Telemediengesetz) as well as the German telecommunication regulatory (TKG- Telekommunikationsgesetz).

Whenever you contact us (e.g. via our contact form or E-Mail), we save your user data for the purpose of processing your request as well as addressing further questions. We also save the IP addresses of all users that leave comments on our blog or any other form of post. This is for safety measures, as it will help us identify anyone that left illegal posts, such as insults or political propaganda. In this case we can be prosecuted ourselves for the comment or contribution and are therefore interested in the author’s identity.

For our business operation, we also process user specific data of all employees and applicants (Personnel data for personnel management, -development, -controlling, -accounting and personnel training), of customers (such as address data, contract data- if required for contract processing, controlling data as well as additional data needed for a correct and adequate handling of the business connection) of customers during order processing (Name, fax numbers, telephone numbers and mail addresses that have been processed or acknowledged during installation or support) of affiliates and suppliers (such as address information, accounting information and service information) as well as of potential buyers (Address and offer information, interest in product).

As of now, we do not intend to transfer data to third countries.

Recipients or categories of recipients to whom the data may be communicated are public authorities that receive data based on legal regulations (e.g. social insurance carriers, fiscal authorities), internal authorities that are involved in the respective business processes (such as personnel management, accounting, marketing, distribution, and support), external authorities that are involved in the respective business processes (delivery companies) as well as external contractors in conjunction with an order processing.

We only keep personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected for or to meet legal requirements for reporting or document retention. You may exert the right to be given information about your personal data as well as request correction, blocking, deletion and process restriction of the same for no additional charge. Furthermore, you may informally revoke any given consent. If you like to do so, please contact our representative for data privacy matters at datenschutz[at]ferrari-electronic.de or mail / fax your request. You also have the right to appeal to the appropriate supervisory authority.

We never forward your personal data to a third party without your explicit and revocable consent. Excluded from this are our service partners or delivery partners, who are needed for the order processing, processing of the contracts as well as for the contract initiation. In this case, however, we keep the transferred data to the required minimum.

Incorporating Third Party Content and Services

It may occur that third party content, such as Youtube videos, material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites is incorporated on this website. This always implies that the providers of the content (hereinafter referred to as “third party providers”) recognize the IP address of the users, as without an IP address, they would not be capable of sending content the user’s browser. Hence, the IP address is needed to display the content. We make every effort to use only those contents whose respective providers use the IP address only for content delivery. However, we have no influence if the third party providers store the IP address for other matters, such as for statistical analysis. Once we become aware of this, we will inform the user. 

 

Web Analysis

 

For the purpose of marketing and optimization, we utilize products and services from leadForensic (www.leadforensic.com). Data that is collected, processed and stored will be used to create user profiles using a pseudonym. Whenever possible and sensible, user profiles will be rendered anonymous. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored to the user’s internet browser to detect the utilized browser. leadForensic receives collected data, including user specific information, and in some cases may even collect these data themselves. leadForensic may use information left on websites to create anonymous user profiles. Data obtained in this way will not be used to personally identify the visitor of this website without the separately given consent of the user concerned. Furthermore, the personal data shall not give any evidence as to whom the pseudonym belongs to. If IP addresses are collected, they will be made anonymous immediately after collection by deleting the last number block. The collection, processing and storage of data can be revoked at any time. This decision also applies to the future until revoked.
