Automatic fax transmission of invoices and reminders

Sending invoices via automated fax can yield much larger potential cost savings. If you send out just 400 invoices per month, then costs arise on postage, paper, envelopes and work time of € 2 for each invoice, or € 800 per month.

With the signature component from Ferrari electronic each invoice costs max. € 0.10, or € 40 per month. Least-cost timing (e.g. in the evening/at night/on Sundays) or least-cost routing (distributed installations) for fax processing can cut these costs still further.

With 400 invoices per month, break-even is achieved after just two months after a one-time investment of € 1,500 for 10,000 signatures (which even allows for 833 invoice signatures in the month). This represents a ROI in the first year of 485 %. In subsequent years expenditures arise only for the fax transmission (€ 40 per month) plus € 145 for a mass signature board, which complies with the current legal regulations (§14 sec. 3, Value Added Tax law).

The additional benefit for you: Your customer receives the invoice as usual with your company logo and signature – but 3 working days earlier. And you now have legally obligatory proof of invoice delivery. The system also helps you with automated reminders, which are similarly produced at the push of a button and transmitted by fax with signature for € 0.10 for each reminder.

As an alternative you could send invoices by e-mail (as a signed PDF) with the signature component. However, the fax service makes more sense since you have confirmation of transmission and the fax cannot be blocked by spam filters.
