How about being able to use the tried-and-trusted ferrariFAX printer driver for centralized conversion and for terminal servers in 64-bit environments?
The latest OfficeMaster software (as of version 3.1) provides a 64-bit fax printer driver in addition to the tried-and-trusted 32-bit version. This driver is used when documents are converted to the fax format on computers with a 64-bit OS platform (such as Windows server 2008), as 64-bit OS platforms support 64-bit printer drivers only. Customers will need the 64-bit printer driver if they wish to install the OfficeMaster client software on a terminal server with a 64-bit OS platform. This provides a larger addressable main-memory storage for larger numbers of users.
Installations in which the OfficeMaster Server runs on a 64-bit OS platform are the second important reason for using the 64-bit printer driver. This case occurs if the installation is directly on an Exchange Server 2007 or a Small Business Server 2008. Per default the printer drivers are added to the list of printers under the names ferrariFAX32 or ferrariFAX64 during the installation. The 64-bit installation package for the server additionally features the MMC snap-ins for the administration of users and the central initial settings for the Exchange-Connector; on 64-bit OS platforms, these have to be provided in the 64-bit mode.
