Unified communications suite integrates seamlessly into Exchange 2010

OfficeMaster – ready for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010

Berlin/Teltow, November 2009. Directly after the release of Microsoft's communication flagship Exchange Server 2010, Ferrari electronic announces the shipment of their complementary unified messaging suite OfficeMaster for Exchange 2010. This software seamlessly integrates fax, SMS, voicemail, and CTI into Exchange Server 2010 and also Outlook. Fax provision is especially relevant, as Microsoft's latest version no longer supports this. OfficeMaster also provides connectivity for external sites, it supports virtual server solutions, and it caters for redundancy-concept implementation. OfficeMaster for Exchange 2010 has licenses for 10, 25, and an unlimited number of users. The most economical version is available for just EUR 699.

"As a long-standing partner in unified messaging, Microsoft involved us at an early stage of the testing of Exchange 2010, which enabled us to complete our development work at the same time as the release of the latest version," explains Johann Deutinger, Director of Development at Ferrari electronic. The software has been developed with a strong focus on straightforward administration. Also, the complete look & feel of the Active Directory management console for users and computers has been integrated into Exchange Server's management console.

UC gateways for Exchange 2010

The OfficeMaster Gate line of products from Ferrari electronic are unified messaging controllers which form the connection to the world of telephony. OfficeMaster Gate also functions as a gateway to map existing ISDN infrastructure to the IP-based voicemail interface in Exchange Server. Unlike its predecessor, Exchange 2010 is no longer able to receive fax. However, it can recognize incoming fax calls and forward these to an instance which is capable of handling fax. OfficeMaster Gate has been updated especially for Exchange 2010. The integrated T.30 fax protocol receives the forwarded fax call and sends it via SMTP mail to the recipient's personal inbox. OfficeMaster Gate is the only gateway in the world which enables Exchange 2010 to receive fax without the need for an additional fax server.
