On this year’s CeBIT, Ferrari electronic presents its broad Unified Communications portfolio, which not only allows companies to digitally transform their environment but also eases the move to All IP. The products offered by Ferrari electronic include the Unified Communication software OfficeMaster Suite 6 - fitted with a new SAP Connector, a Cloud-Connector and DirectSIP for Fax over IP- as well as OfficeMaster Gate and OfficeMaster CallRecording. The latter, being a call recording solution, is of particular relevance for financial institutions, which, from 2018 onwards, will be required to record and store every counselling call for a minimum of five years. This year, Ferrari electronic is going to be represented on the booths of its channel partner Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (Booth E32) and Microsoft Skype for Business (Booth E24) in hall 12.
The migration to All IP is not the only novelty feared by many IT communication representatives/administrators. A mega trend is sweeping forward, namely that of digital transformation. It often requires new solutions that need to be picked wisely with the future in mind. Ferrari electronic constantly put their efforts in developing their UC products further, thus offering a contemporary product range, which meets the growing requirements of both, the market and the customers alike. Ferrari electronic particularly promotes these topics on this year’s CeBIT:
· OfficeMaster Suite 6.1: This software professionally handles and processes communication via fax, SMS and voicemail (Unified Communication). It contains a fully revised SAP connector and supports DirectSIP by default. Hence, no additional hardware or middleware is required for communication in the Cloud.
· Cloud Connector for Office 365: The Cloud Connector provides for a secure faxing via an Office 365 cloud mailbox and autonomously averts the use of SMTP or inbound connections. Security risks are therefore minimalised without obstructing the ease of administration.
· OfficeMaster CallRecording:Due to theMiFID II guideline, financial institutes are bound by law to record counselling calls and ensure these recordings are stored for a minimum of five years. This new guideline will come into effect on 03 January 2018. Ferrari electronic offers a solution, which complies with the legal requirements and blends in perfectly into existent communication systems. Integrated programmes such as the Call Browser offer practical and yet simple methods to manage recordings.
· OfficeMaster Gate Advanced: The media gateways offered by Ferrari electronic allow for a swift migration of ISDN to SIP. Thus, existent analogue hardware and non-IP substations can be used continuously, offering a seamless integration into a contemporary UC environment. Furthermore, if the gateways are being used in connection with Skype for Business, the integrated Session Border Controller will ensure uninterrupted communication even during a network failure.
