The technology group Microsoft changes the system requirements for Office 365 and deactivates the "simple login" for Office 365 Exchange Online. The Berlin UC manufacturer Ferrari electronic has reacted to this and adapted its OfficeMaster Suite version 7.1.1 to the new Microsoft requirements. This requires a reinstallation of the connector and an adjustment in the Office 365 settings after updating to OfficeMaster Suite 7.1.1.
With the Ferrari electronic Office 365 Connector for the OfficeMaster Suite, NGDX, fax and voice messages can be stored and managed securely in Office 365. No local Active Directory is required for this, only a server with Internet access. A separate external IP address is also no longer necessary, as no messages are sent from the cloud to the fax server. Queries are made via standard mechanisms that are also used by Outlook.

Version 7.1.1 of the OfficeMaster Suite can now be monitored with the Checkmk monitoring system. Checkmk displays the status of all components and immediately informs about errors. Support for LDAP Signed/Sealed in all components
This year, Microsoft will increase the security of LDAP connections to the Active Directory by means of patches; among other things, better encryption is required. Ferrari electronic has made the corresponding adjustments. To remain compatible, all components with LDAP support the Signed/Seal feature.
